Important information:
Effective August 20, 2007 (Monday) all India visa-related services-enquiries, collection of applications, fees and delivery of passports will be undertaken by the Embassy approved Service Provider, TT Services Korea Co., Ltd.
All foreign nationals, including children, require a visa to enter India. Please do not finalize your travel arrangements to India before ascertaining the visa requirements. Visa validity is from issue date not from entry date.
If you are Foreign Passport holder, it will take about one week to process your application.
Please contact our office to confirm if the visa category you are applying for will require an interview.
Effective November 23, 2009 Employment Visa(EV) / Business Visa(BV)would be issued to the nationals of Korean only. Other nationals can apply for EV /BV provided their permanent residence in Korea is more than two years.
The passport has to be valid for at least 6-months from the date of application with at least 3 blank visa pages. Applicants are advised to check their passport validity before submitting their application.
You can use the Online Application Procedure link to fill-up Indian Visa Application online. Please note, if you are bringing more than 3 application forms, online submission of your application form is compulsory.
If you are Diplomatic/Official Passport holder, please visit the Embassy of India without scheduling an appointment (Korean Diplomatic/Official Passport holders does not require visa for entry in India for a period up to 90 days).
All Visa Fees and Processing Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, even if a visa is denied or if a visa is issued for a shorter period of time or otherwise issued or returned at a time or on terms and conditions that vary from those sought by the applicant.
All applicants obtaining visas of more than 6 months validity are required to register with the local Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of their arrival in India.
Business Visa (BV):
All business visa applicants are henceforth required to appear for interview in the Indian Embassy for visa. Visa will be granted for the period/duration of his Business work/tip in India.(It is notified for information of all concerned that no interview will be required for Business Visa(BV) for a maximum period of 3 months(90days) w.e.f. 1st November'2009.)
Employment Visa (EV):
Issue of EV : In addition to existing required documents, the applicants will have to submit the copies of their educational qualifications/experience certificate from recognized educational/technical institutions in South Korea or Educational Institutions approved by the Government of India abroad.
Extension of EV : In case, the applicant re-applies for employment visa to Embassy of India,Seoul to join a new employer in India, one year EV can be granted to him. However, if there is no change in Employer in India, the applicant should get his employment visa extended before leaving India. w.e.f. 23th November'2009
Additional Document Required. w.e.f. 15th December'2009 All persons who apply for an Employment Visa from ROK for any Multi National Company/Korean Company/Joint Venture Company having Indians and Koreans employed/Indian Company which employs Indians which is BASED IN INDIA will henceforth be required to get a certificate signed by the Company stating the following:-
i) Total Number of Emloyees in the Company
ii) Total Number of Indians Employees
iii) Total Number of Koreans Employees.
From 01 Jan 2010 all people who apply for an Employment Visa for any Company in India are required to submit an imaged copy of the print application on CD including imaged copies of all certificates/documents required for obtaining an employment visa in addition to the printed application form. The CD will be returned to the applicant by TT Services Korea after downloading it while accepting the application.
Tourist Visa (TV) :
Tourist visas will be issued only for the bonafide purpose of tourism only. The visitors are advised not to utilize tourist visa for any other purpose.
Effective August 5, 2008 there will be two new visa services for KOREA PASSPORT HOLDERS
1. Express Visa:
Submission Time: 09:00am to 12:00pm / Collection Time: 04:00pm to 05:00pm
Service Fee: KRW 24,200 (inclusive of 10% VAT)
2. Urgent Visa (only emergency applications):
The applicants will need to personally establish the urgent requirement and satisfy in Embassy (within few hours’ delivery).
Service Fee: KRW 48,400 (inclusive of 10% VAT)
Please note that we do not guarantee the visa will be issued same day.
